he recently introduced online Injury On Duty (IOD)/Incident/Hazard reporting system now allows HA staff to report such events more quickly and easily than before, because colleagues will only need to complete a one-page form in English or Chinese.

The new system was built after a review conducted by the HA in 2007, which concludes that the existing hard-copy IOD Reporting Form can be improved in terms of the quality of data it collects and the amount of time it takes to complete, as well as its risk management, staff involvement and ownership aspects. The online system is incorporated into the AIRS platform.
