Happy New Year Run 2010 Doing their best despite the wind and rain

his year's Happy New Year Run held at Shatin Hospital on 7 February was a huge success. The number of participants was the highest ever, with 800 of our colleagues and their family members having a go in the existing 10.5 km events and the new 5 km ones. And the wet and windy weather didn't spoil their mood. Instead, they all did their utmost to complete the races, thus clearly demonstrating the can-do spirit of HA staff members!

The Corporate Fitness Exercises Promotional & Training Video Working Group members led a warm-up exercise routine before the run. You can see how precise their postures are!

On your marks... get set... go! All the participants get off to a flying start in order to achieve the best possible time.

Kowloon West Cluster won the Cluster Champion's title. David Rossiter, Head of Human Resources at HAHO, was the winner of the "Hospital Authority Chairman's Invitation Cup", a brand-new 5-km walk for the HA's senior executives and Board members that was proposed by our Chairman, Mr Anthony Wu.
