The 2009 HA Swimming Gala &
Aquatic Fun Day
 
The 2009 HA Swimming Gala & Aquatic Fun Day was held at Morse Park Swimming Pool on 19 September. The 34 competitions attracted more than 400 staff members and their children. Bright sunny weather and a maximum temperature of 33 degrees made the spectators wish they could jump into the water alongside the competitors!

The Hong Kong West Cluster had the largest number of staff members participating in the gala. It also garnered the HA Swimming Gala 2009 Clusters Overall Champion.
 
The Kowloon Central Cluster has done extraordinarily well in HA sporting events during 2008-09. It also won this year's Overall Winning Cluster of Corporate Events Competitions.
 
 
Dr Lawrence Lai, the Hong Kong West Cluster Chief Executive, presents the Men's Overall Champion Award to Yeung Kwan-chak of United Christian Hospital.
 
One of our colleagues looks exceptionally smart and confident in his "Fastskin" swimsuit.
 
Queen Elizabeth Hospital's Wong Hock-wing broke two records to capture the Women's Overall Champion Award.
