Q: What extraordinary ability do you wish you had?
A: I wish I could be like ChatGPT. I’d like to be agile and to communicate more effectively with medical teams, patients, and their families. I’d like to have great organisational and time management skills to deal with medical records and appointments swiftly and to ensure the smooth operation of wards. Most of all, I’d like to be able to understand the needs of all parties and render suitable assistance in all circumstances. Those abilities would increase my job satisfaction.
A: I would like to possess an extraordinary ability to bring medical miracles from the future to the present. Despite the rapid technology advancement, many patients still lack access to the most personalised and effective treatments. I hope I could bring more precise and effective medical technologies from the future to the patients today, offering them hope of recovery.
A: I wish I could be like Naruto Uzumaki in the animated series ‘Naruto’, whose ‘Shadow Clone’ technique allows me to instantly create hundred copies of myself. I will make one of my copies performing surgery, another doing ward rounds, others teaching junior doctors, and a few studying the latest medical advances abroad and bring back to Tseung Kwan O Hospital. Then, no patients would have to wait too long, and their conditions could be turned around!
