Options for Scans Rely on this Plan

The Staff Radi Programme provides diagnostic imaging services for Hospital Authority (HA) eligible users, offered by designated private service providers on a co-payment basis shared by HA and the service users. Service scope includes Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Breast Imaging (BI), Ultrasound (USG) and Computed Tomography Coronary Angiogram (CT-Coro). Since its launch, over 26,000 eligible users have conducted examinations under the programme. Positive feedback like shortening waiting time and facilitating early diagnosis was received.

The new service contract will start on 1 December this year, with new service providers and a series of enhancement, e.g. WhatsApp enquiry service, additional application channels, etc. Colleagues can scan the QR code for more details!

Points to note:

1. Eligible users include:
   
   1. Serving HA Staff entitled to medical benefit and their eligible family members
   2. HA retirees and their spouses
   3. HA employees who ceased to be employed by HA for health reasons and their spouses
   4. Serving HA staff on civil service terms or subvented staff working in HA
2. The existing contract will end on 30 November. Users have to complete the scheduled examination on or before this date
3. The programme does not cover screening or body check purpose, or high risk and complicated diagnostic investigations. Users need to obtain a referral from HA doctors with clear clinical indications stated beforehand
4. Register eHealth and give sharing consent to service provider before the examination
