Good things made possible

As well as government funding, public hospitals are supported by donors who give donation to acquire medical equipment, fund staff training, and improve hospital services for the benefit of staff and patients. The theme of this edition of HASLink is ‘Collective kindness’ and it applauds the generosity and compassion of the Hong Kong community towards our city’s healthcare services.

Donations from members of the public are the ultimate trust and recognition of the contribution healthcare workers make to society, and the Hospital Authority (HA) is committed to ensuring those donations are put to the best possible use. As well as giving donations to public hospitals directly, people can donate to the HA Charitable Foundation, which is introduced to readers in this edition.

Our hospitals continue to deliver high-quality healthcare and are constantly enhancing our services with the support of the community. This edition of HASLink brings you some of the good things made possible through these generous donations.
