Living green

Hospital clusters have organised various activities to enhance staff awareness of environmental protection and integrate green practices into daily life. An eco-barbecue encourages colleagues to bring food boxes and cutlery to reduce plastic use. The parent-child upcycling workshop allows old items to be transformed and repurposed; a second-hand item exchange programme extends the value of goods, so that items such as plugs, cables, or USB data cables can be reused.

A hospital adopts a smart waste bin to sort and compress glass, plastic, paper, or metal automatically, making the recycling process more convenient. The solar LED lights are more energy-efficient and cost-effective than traditional streetlights.
