Q: What would you say to yourself 10 years from now?

Man Kai-yip A: Dear Future Me,

I hope this letter finds you in good health and good spirits. How’s your life? Have you traveled around the world, learned a new language, mastered a new subject, or tried anything exciting? Whatever the case, I hope you can keep curious about the world and stuff around you. Keep evolving, and I’m always with you.

Your 10-year-younger self

Dr Chong Yeow-kuan A: I hope you are healthy, happy, and successful, and remain the person you set out to be. Do you still find yourself tirelessly learning new technologies and applying them to your daily work? Do you still remember the dreams you had when you first entered this profession?

If you really are reading these words 10 years from now, take some time off, visit your mentors and old friends, and tell them all the things happened in these years.

Dr Delon Lim A: I hope that you have been living a healthy and happy life over the past 10 years, and that you are still striving towards your dreams. Please continue to use your professional expertise and innovative technologies to provide the best treatment for colorectal cancer patients, giving them hope. At the same time, remember your original intention for practicing medicine, and continue to approach your work with humility and empathy, fulfilling your duties as a doctor and educator, passing on your knowledge and skills to future talents.
