How the DM risk engine was put into gear

The Statistics & Data Science Department at HA Head Office developed the DM risk engine to stratify patients into different risk levels of developing complications. Since July 2020, specialists and nurses of relevant specialties discussed the development of the risk engine, and developed the model in cooperation with the HA Coordinating Committees and Central Committees. The DM risk engine was adopted after its performance was evaluated and comparison made with similar models used overseas.
