Walking Instructions

Use of Walking Frame

1. Place the walking frame forward.
2. Step forward with the operated leg.
3. Place your weight through the walking frame and then bring the other leg alongside.

Use of Walking Stick

1. Hold your stick on unoperated side.
2. Place the stick forward.
3. Step forward with the operated leg.
4. Place your weight through the stick and then bring the other leg alongside.

Going Upstairs

1. Please hold the hand rail.
2. Step up with your unoperated leg.
3. Place the stick on the next step.
4. Place your weight through the stick and rail, then step up with your operated leg.

Going Downstairs

1. Please hold the hand rail.
2. Place the stick on the next step.
3. Step down with your operated leg.
4. Place your weight through the stick and rail, then step down with your unoperated leg.
