IN-PATIENT PHYSIOTHERAPY SERVICES
The in-patient unit provides physiotherapy services to hospitalized patients with acute cardiac, respiratory, medical, orthopedic & traumatic and neurological problems, aiming to help patients regain physical capabilities to the greatest extent before discharging from the hospital. The unit also provides out-patient services to acute traumatic hand patients and serves as a clinical education centre for the physiotherapy students of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

OUT-PATIENT PHYSIOTHERAPY SERVICES - David Trench Rehabilitation Centre
Physiotherapy out-patient unit of the department is a satellite clinic located at David Trench Rehabilitation Centre on High Street. It serves a wide variety of patients suffering from various physical problems such as degeneration, trauma and post-surgery. It also covers rehabilitation service to geriatric patients and people with neurological diseases.
The clinic also jointly organizes educational classes with Sai Ying Pun General Out-patient Clinic. The out-patient unit endeavors to its best to provide updated and comprehensive physiotherapy rehabilitation program to the community.
