Physiotherapy uses physical means including heat, ice, light, hydrotherapy, electrotherapy, manual therapy and exercise to provide preventive and therapeutic intervention for patients to achieve specific goals such as pain relief, regaining function through promoting muscle strength, motion range, coordination, and cardiopulmonary rehabilitation to improve quality of life.

We deliver safe and high quality treatment through evidence-based practice for acute inpatients as well as adults and children in outpatient settings. We also provide clinical education to physiotherapy undergraduates and postgraduates from the Polytechnic University.

  • New patients should bring along the doctor's referral and HKID card to the Physiotherapy Department to book appointment
  • For enquiries or to change appointment date, please call the department during office hours
  • Please attend according to the time stated on the appointment slip
