The Pharmacy Department manages nine pharmacies in hospitals and outpatient clinics in the Shatin District. Our scope of service includes:
- Inpatient dispensing services for the Prince of Wales Hospital, Shatin Hospital, Bradbury Hospice and Cheshire Home, Shatin
- Outpatient dispensing and medication counseling services for A&E, hospital discharge, specialist outpatient clinic, general outpatient clinic, outreach service and private clinic etc.
- Aseptic dispensing and reconstitution service
- Pharmacist clinics and medication therapy consultations
- Drug information and education
- Clinical trials coordination and dispensing of investigational medicinal products

Service hours
- Main Pharmacy: 24-hour (closed between 3am - 4am)
- LKSSC Pharmacy: Monday to Friday 9am ¡V 6pm (Closed on Public Holidays)
Points to note for patients
- Patients are advised to present prescription to the designated pharmacy on the day of consultation and collect medications on the same day.
- All prescriptions are valid for 4 working days from the prescribing date.
- For any medication related enquiries, patients or relatives may contact the duty pharmacists.
