Department profile

We provide a full range of diagnostic and interventional radiological services, comprise of plain X-ray, intravenous urography and fluoroscopy, mammography, ultrasonography, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging (including MRI Simulation for Radiation Therapy Planning), digital subtraction angiography, interventional radiology, nuclear medicine and bone densitometry to both the inpatients and outpatients. We also offer 24-hours imaging support to the patients in Accident and Emergency Department.

Our more than 210 healthcare professionals including radiologists, radiographers, nurses and patient care assistants are dedicated to providing quality service to patients through a multi-disciplinary approach with expertise in different imaging territories.

We are also a training centre for the trainees of the Hong Kong College of Radiologists and student radiographers of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Over the years, we have never ceased to introduce cutting-edge imaging technologies for clinical applications and actively participated in teaching and research activities.
