Caring Organization Logo

Since 2002, The Hong Kong Council of Social Service has launched a Caring Company Scheme to inspire continuous improvement in sustainable development and social impact across companies and organisations. Pok Oi Hospital has consistently dedicated to fostering a caring culture for 15 years, and received the recognition logo from the Caring Organisation Scheme in 2024/25 – Advanced performance.

Hong Kong Awards for Environmental Excellence － Certificate of Merit

The Hong Kong Awards of Environmental Excellence is an annual award that encourages organisations to implement environmental management, measure organisations’ performance on their commitment to environmental management within the industry, and recognises organisations with excellent performance on environmental management. This year, Pok Oi Hospital and Tin Shui Wai Hospital have been awarded jointly for the Public and Community Service - Certificate of Merit of the HKAEE, which recognised the excellent environmental management and implementations of environmental initiatives of Pok Oi Hospital and Tin Shui Wai Hospital.

Hong Kong Green Organisation Certification

Pok Oi Hospital is among the first batch of organisations awarded with the Hong Kong Green Organisation, which aims to:

• Encourage Hong Kong businesses / organisations in adopting environmental practices in different aspects;
• Benchmark green organisations with substantial achievement in green management; and
• Recognise the environmental efforts and commitment of those organisations.

Wastewi$e Certificate

Hong Kong Awards for Environmental Excellence is a recognition scheme organized by the Environmental Protection Department with Hong Kong Productivity Council as Wastewi$e adviser. The scheme presents Hong Kong organizations with the good opportunity to benchmark their commitment towards environmental protection through waste reduction. Pok Oi Hospital has fulfilled the requirements of the Scheme and is authorized to use the Wastewi$e Label ("Class of Excellence"). The logo demonstrates organizations’ exceptional leadership within the environmental arena and can be used for publicizing members' achievements regarding waste reduction.

Carbon Reduction Certificate

The Carbon"Less" Certificates scheme, a recognition scheme of Hong Kong Awards for Environmental Excellence, which aims to recognize those buildings or organizations that achieved a verified absolute reduction of overall carbon emissions. Pok Oi Hospital has fulfilled the requirements of the Scheme and is authorized to use the Carbon "Less" Logo, in recognizing the hospital has achieved 22% carbon footprint reduction against the baseline and implemented effectiveness measures regarding environmental protection.
