As
a member of the rehabilitation team, Medical Social Worker would
conduct psychosocial assessment for patients to formulate holistic
treatment plans to help the patients to overcome problems which
might hinder their recovery, and to regain maximum social integration.
The
services are carried out through direct and indirect case work services
for promoting emotional, social and economics functioning. Services
include individual/family counselling, tangible assistance such
as arrangement for housing, financial assistance, vocational training
and referral to community resources, etc.
