    Sickness & Diagnosis
    KWH is a charitable hospital. The name “Kwong Wah” implied the welfare services provided to the Chinese residents in Hong Kong. The hospital has over 1,100 beds, treating patients from different specialities. The Department of Pathology is responsible for providing laboratory services for the whole hospital. In the past century, Out-patient fees were funded by the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals.

    Intensive Care Unit
    The Intensive Care Unit supports critically ill patients requiring intensive treatment and care from all specialities. It had treated the first SARS patient in Hong Kong, without letting the virus to spread into the community. The deeds had received commemoration from the LegCo Council in 2004.
