2018 HA New Year Run

The HA New Year Run, the first HA major sports event in the Year of the Dog, was held on 25 February 2018 (Sunday) at the Hong Kong Sports Institute. One of the aims of the event is to promote physical health and raise funds to support patient services. All funds raised in the event would contribute towards the HA Charitable Foundation.Before the races began, there was a ‘Best Costume Contest’ in which contestants dressed up in various eye-catching outfits, such as firecrackers, Snoopy, Super Mario and so on.
The entire event was bustling with excitement and cheers. Among all the runners, a total of 167 Kwong Wah colleagues joined the races. The Chairman of KWH & WTSH Hospital Governing Committee (HGC), various HGC members and HA senior management had participated in the 2.5 km HA Chairman’s Invitation Cup.
