Epi Info 3.3.2 Hands-On Training

An intensive course of Epi Info 3.3.2 Hands-On Training, jointly organized with Emory University Rollins School of Public Health, was held from 27 to 29 March 2007 and delivered by the experts in health information system, Mrs Jinghong Ma (CDC Senior System Architect/Emory University Consultant/Trainer), Mrs Pia Valeriano (Epi Info Lab Associate) and Mr Roger Friedman (CDC Epi Info System Programmer and Co-trainer), and the audience comprised 54 health care professionals from local public and health sectors. The interactive course, with focused exercise sessions, covered widely but precisely both the conceptual and practical aspects in epidemiological data entry, analysis and reporting by utilizing the software Epi Info, and it was highly regarded by most participants as a handy guide in manipulating the tool for outbreak investigation and data management.
